How to upload containers to your dashboard

Once you’ve registered for an account, the first thing you’ll want to do is to add your containers to track. The easiest way to do this is by uploading a CSV file with your container numbers, the shipping line (if you know it), and any additional information you'd like to add as searchable tags.

Here's how to do it:

1. To get started, click the “add containers” button at the top of the dashboard, and drop a CSV file into the allocated frame. You’ll see the column with the container number has already been selected.

2. Next, make sure the correct column has been selected to indicate the shipping line. When you include the shipping line for your containers, you'll get a faster search result.

3. Then select the columns you’d like to add as searchable tags. The tags feature is available on some of the paid plans.

If you’re tracking a lot of cargo, you may want to skip this step and use our APIs to upload a large number of containers more efficiently.

Everyone in your organization will be able to see the containers that have been uploaded, so everyone will have access to the same real-time information about your company's shipments.
