I fondly remember my first Navis World conference over 17 years ago as an opportunity to share and discuss the future of things in the port industry with a great convergence of terminal operators. At that time, gate automation was just starting to show up. Looking at the Navis World 2017 conference coming up later this month, this trend is clearly still present, but has grown considerably from its humble beginnings.

This year, I’ll be joining Marc Held from Armada, Chris Mazza from ClearMetal, and Oscar Pernia and Sumitha Sampath from Navis on a panel discussion about some of the newer technologies in the supply chain space from Silicon Valley and beyond.
