Taking your privacy seriously

We are all faced with constant requests for things that should give us pause. Every time we provide a credit card number or grant an application permission access to our location, we trust that the company will keep our information safe. After all, there are good reasons for us to provide this information. Location-based services make our lives easier by helping us find the nearest gas station, or the quickest route to our destination.
Here at Crux Systems, we take your privacy seriously. We do not store your credit card information and have no access to the details of your credit card. All we know is that you have a credit card in good standing, and that you have authorized us to charge you for a specific service, and no other service.
When it comes to location information, it’s all about context. When a driver using our application chooses to start sharing their location, it’s because they want to work on their delivery orders. Knowing the location of the driver in relation to the job helps them get work done more efficiently. And when the driver is done with working on delivery orders, the application stops tracking their location.
Put simply, what a driver does on his or her own time is completely private. And all that Crux Systems knows about a driver’s location is in the specific context of the delivery order that’s being worked on.
